20 Jan How To Replace Display Screen of Macbook Air A2337 (2020)?
Macbook Air A2337 2020Retina Display has True Tone technology which makes the screen able to adjust the white balance to match the color temperature of the surroundig. This Retina display has 4 Millions Pixels with a screen resolution of 2560X1600 and a 16:10 aspect ratio for 227 pixels per inch (ppi). This new display has around 50% more colours than earlier version. This device has M1 instead of Intell chip which protects Touch ID information and also ensures that software loaded during the boot process has not been tampered.
This machine has keyboard with scissor Mechanism to provide precise and responsive typing. Apple has developed two kinds of keyboards for its MacBook Pro and MacBook Air machines – one that uses butterfly switches and one that uses scissor switches.
Tools Required to replace the Retina Display:-
P5 Pentalobe screw driver.
T3 Torx screw driver.
TR9 Torx security screwdriver.
Tweezers
Spudger
Step 1 Remove Screws of the Base Cover:-
Use P5 Pentalobe screw driver to open all these screws. Wedge your finer near both 7.9mm screw position in between screen and base cover then pull the cover forward whilst lifting upword. Remove the base cover and disconnect the battery before doing anything.
Step 2:-Disconnect the Antenna Bar
Use T3 Torx Screw Driver to disconnect the Antenna Bar and Connection. remove the Antenna Cable Bracket.
Step 3- Disconnect The Display Connector
Use T3 Torx Screw driver to open the two screws on display cable bracket. Remove the bracket and disconnect the cable.
Step 4- Remove screws of Anteena Bar and Daughter board of the display
Use T5 Torex Screw driver to open four 7.4mm Screw on Antenna Bar and Two 4.5mm Screws on Daughter board of display . Then Pull up the antenna bar hard without damaging any thing. You can see the clips holding the antenna with base in the middle of the antenna. Try to unclipp these clips safly using tweezer or spudger.
Step 5- Remove the Display
Use T9 Torx Screw Driver to open the six 4.9mm screws on display hinges.
Open the Screen slowly and try to pull up from the base case.
Just the steps in reverse order to assemble the new screen.
